Upon completed the application, you will receive an email from MQA entitled “Permohonan penilaian APEL bagi tujuan kemasukan ke peringkat Ijazah/Ijazah Sarjana” in which applicants need to register through KLMUC website (https://klmuc.edu.my/enrol-with-work-experience/).  

The application / registration form is the evidence to be presented for KLMUC’s verification and validation process.

OBJECTIVES

  • To support the nation’s aspiration to enhance and widen educational opportunities for learners.
  • To encourage individuals of various backgrounds and ages to engage in lifelong learning by providing pathways for assessment and validation of their prior learning experiences.

FUNCTIONS

  • To receive and process APEL.A applications for admission into Diploma (APEL T-4), Bachelor’s Degree (APEL T-6) and Master’s Degree (APEL T-7) programmes at KLMUC.
  • To guide candidates in the APEL.A assessment and application processes.
  • To fully implement the APEL.A evaluation process.
  • To submit candidates’ APEL.A assessment results to MQA for record purposes.

Note: KLMUC only accepts the admission of prospective students who wish to study at KLMUC.

Application Criteria

T6 (Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Malaysian citizen
  • At least 21 years of age in the year of application and possess relevant work experience. Pass APEL.A assessment for Bachelors degree level.
T7 (Master’s Degree)
  • Malaysian citizen
  • 30 years and above at year of application for an entry/ access to a programme at Masters level (APEL.A T-7) with STPM/ Diploma or any qualification equivalent to Diploma and experience in a related field. Pass the APEL.A assessment.

  • Possess relevant work experience.
  • Passed the APEL.A assessment for Diploma level.
T6 (Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Malaysian citizen.
  • At least 21 years of age in the year of application and possess relevant work experience. Pass APEL.A assessment for Bachelors degree level.
T7 (Master’s)
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Holding at least STPM/Diploma*/A-Levels.
  • Working experience required.
