Diploma in Sales and Marketing

The Diploma in Sales and Marketing provides a solid foundation in Sales and Marketing, Students are encouraged to share ideas and work together. Current business concepts and real-life examples are incorporated in order to illustrate a worldly view of the corporate sales and marketing environment.

Who is this For?

This programme is typically for the person who enjoys a wide range of employment opportunities. Most take up first positions in sales or as assistants in marketing departments and general management. Others may be employed in marketing research or advertising.

Programme Description

The programme is designed to cater for students with marketing flair in which students will learn about the various marketing disciplines and activities including selecting, designing, packaging, pricing, advertising, selling, distributing and servicing of products.

Programme Aims

The programme aims to providing the practical knowledge and skills related to planning, managing, and performing sales and marketing activities to meet organisational objectives whilst also aiming to produce competent sales and marketing personnel who understand the marketplace and consumer wants and needs.

Career Prospects

The programme aims to prepare students for careers in general marketing, sales, advertising, retailing, distribution and customer service fields.

Entry Requirements

  • SPM with 3 credits in any subjects
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in 3 subjects
  • Other equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution of Government of Malaysia
