This postgraduate programme in Human Resource Management provides students with a high quality graduate management education and development experience. Our programme teaches the fundamentals of people management alongside the operational functions of companies.

Programme Description

The Diploma in Human Resource Management provide students with an analytical and technical framework that combines with a comprehensive understanding in human resource management application, practices, general business studies; and how they can apply the knowledge and skills of human resource management in companies of various sizes. The programme is designed to provide the skills required to manage human resource function in the workplace. It combines essential business and communication skills with current human resource management. Students will be trained with the skills required to optimise the potential of employees, while maximising effectiveness.

Programme Aims

The programme aims to develop a wholesome individual with the right attitude and character to interact with staff at all levels and interpersonal skills for the working environment. They are also prepared to apply the relevant knowledge and skills gained through the subjects and demonstrate excellent working culture.

This qualification will give students the opportunity to work in numerous industries in the business, commerce and information technology fields. Career opportunities in specialised human resource field includes Human Resource Management Officer/Executive, Recruitment and Selection Officer/Executive, Compensation and Benefits Officer/Executive, Training and Development Officer/ Executive, Organisation Development Officer/Executive, Industrial Relation Officer/Executive, OSH Officer/Executive, Management Trainee and a range of supervisory positions in an administrative and office environment.

Entry Requirements

  • SPM with 3 credits
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in 3 subjects
  • Other equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution of Government of Malaysia
