Programme Description

The Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Marketing is a 3-year programme that offers a broad approach towards marketing and marketing management. The programme develops relevant knowledge and skills in ways that enable one to think strategically about the growth of the organisation, and develop effective marketing practices that make or shape the target markets. Students develop professional marketing abilities and skills to pursue their careers as marketers essential for today’s competitive business environment. These include researching, evaluating, recommending solutions to business problems and communication techniques.

Programme Aims

The program aims to equip students with the technical knowledge and skills to meet the demand of the competitive marketing environment at the same time shaping students on a wholesome basis in business and marketing.

Career Prospects

With knowledge in both domestic and international markets, a graduate can become a professional in marketing management, marketing research, public relations, sales promotional activities and sales management. Graduates may also further their studies with professional marketing bodies or take up postgraduate studies.

Entry Requirements

  • STPM (2 principal passes) or Diploma or A-Level
  • MUET (Band 1) with PNGK 2.0
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognized by Government of Malaysia
