Dear Students,



Kindly be informed that Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College (KLMUC), through the Senate
University Meeting 6/2020, dated 26 June 2020, has approved to conduct Online Examination via
Microsoft Teams for this June 2020 semester. The Online Examination will be commencing from 1
to 10 September 2020
. You may check your examination slip via SMART Portal starting from 17
August 2020.

For those who have not used or download Microsoft Teams, kindly do so before the Online Examination
commences. You will also need your official email (KLMUC Email Account) to log in to Microsoft
Teams. If you do not have a KLMUC official email address or have difficulties to access the KLMUC
Official Email, please email your details to Ms. Suhaili,

All students who sit for the Online Examination at KLMUC are subject to KLMUC’s Examination
Rules and Regulation. The Online Examination conducted this June 2020 semester, is also subject to
the KLMUC Online Examination Rules and Regulation.

Technical Requirements for the Online Examination

You will need access to a device connected to the internet to be able to participate in this Online
Examination. If you have already successfully completed an online assignment/quiz during this
semester, then the device you are currently using is sufficient

During the exam period, there will be an invigilator available between 9am and 4pm on the day of the
online examination in case of any difficulties or challenges faced during the exam. Their contact details
are available on the respective virtual classes on Microsoft Teams. The exam coordinator will also be
available between these hours on the day of the exam, in case of any issues faced.

If you are having an internet connection problem in your home or local area, you can request to sit for an
Online Examination on campus using KLMUC WiFi or a College Computer. You are required to fill up
the Application to sit for an Examination on Campus and submit your request to the ESG Officer at the
Examination Office, Level 1, KLMUC or email your application to before 10
August 2020
. This is applicable to students who are staying in Selangor/Kuala Lumpur areas only.
We would like to advise students who are staying outside Selangor/Kuala Lumpur with poor internet
connection, to go to any public library/cyber café or any area with a stable internet connection that is
near to your residence for the Online Examination.
