Admission Guideline & Procedure

FIND YOUR BEST PROGRAMME AND CHECK YOUR ELIGIBILITY.

All International Students should check their eligibility status via email at course.enquiry@klmuc.edu.my. Prospect students have to complete the application form attached with relevant documents such as scan copies of your passport and Academic certificates, which are recognised by the Ministry of Education. KLMUC will sent a Letter of Eligibility (LOE) before assisting Applicants in completing and submitting their application documents, as well as transfer the payment of initial fees.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION

All applicants are advised to submit their application at least eight (8) weeks (2 months) prior to the commencement date of the intake to avoid any unnecessary delay in the admission process. Please complete and submit the International Student Application Form with documents listed on your Application Check list form (ACF).

RECEIVE OFFICIAL LETTER OF OFFER

If your application is successful, we will issue a Letter of OER to you. If your application is unsuccessful, we will inform you. After the issuance of the Letter of OER, we will submit your student visa application to the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) in Malaysia on your behalf. This VAL process will take approximately 1 to 2 months.

 

OBTAIN STUDENT VISA APPROVAL LETTER

Upon obtaining your Student Visa Approval Letter (VAL) issued by Malaysia’s Immigration office at EMGS, you are required to pay an Initial Fee of RM5,788 (approximately USD1,754*). Your Visa processing may require approximately 6-8 weeks (1-2 months). Thereafter, the original Visa Approval Letter will be sent to you through DHL International courier service. DHL Tracking Code number will be informed to the Applicant after it has been successfully sent.

For students who only require a Single Entry Visa, kindly bring the original Visa Approval Letter together with your passport to the nearest Malaysian Embassy/- Consulate as you are required to obtain a single entry permit before entering Malaysia.

INFORM KLMUC OF YOUR SCHEDULED ARRIVAL

Complete and submit the Airport Pick-up Form via email to course.enquiry@klmuc.edu.my at least 5 (five) working days prior to your arrival in Malaysia. KLMUC’s International Office will acknowledge receipt of your Airport Pick-up Form and provide the name and contact details of the International Officer who will be meeting you at the airport.

This pick-up service is only available at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA 2) and Subang Skypark Airport.

Note:
If you do not receive the conrmation email within two (2) working days please email us at course.enquiry@klmuc.edu.my. Please be reminded that you must receive a confirmation email from International Office, otherwise your pick-up service will not be valid.
